Nature is my inspiration and joy is my motivator. If my works bring you an emotional response this brings me joy. Art practice brings serenity to my life. Creativity calms and soothes my busy brain.
I love the natural forms of the ocean, forests and desert plains, creatures and plants. I look for light, patterns and line, seeing things a little differently, working out how things work and how systems interact.
Throughout my career as an electron microscopist, I’ve loved seeing how forms, patterns and lines recur in nature on every scale, delving into nano- and micro-structures and systems.
My home and studio are located by the ocean in Victoria, Australia.
